Here is a little poem I wrote for Leaf fans. I hope you guys enjoy it.
When
reading it, emulate an Irish accent. It's alot funnier that way.
Cheers, and bring on the Sens!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away
The Leafs won the Stanley Cup, and no more to this day

1967 is the year that was the Leafs for sure
Dreams of ol' Stanley they have had to endure

The Mighty Habs have fought their way to magic 24
While the lowly Leafs lay ruined and rotten to the core

A little boy down Yonge street asks "Daddy, why can't we win"?
The father answers "Son, this is the Maple Leafs ... duh"

Oh what I wonder will become of good ol' Patty Quinn
Oh Patty please don't go, cos with you the Leafs'll never win

So take this poem and heed it's words for truer truth you'll never hear
Come one come all ol' Leaf fans and drown your sorrows in lots of beer

What in the hell does this mean? The Habs building has been sold out
for years. Playoff team or not, they've lead the league in attendance
for years. And after they lose you can buy tickets? WTF!? If
you're going to put down the Habs, why not at least put some thought or
humour into it?

Yeah the game starts at 7:00 PM and they have tickets until 6:59 PM and
then they sell out. You call it Tomato I call it TOMAATTO.

Because they have the largest building

No ...the humour is reading excitement in Hab posts for the past month
and then seeing a little bit of Bandwagon off jumping after 3 losses (4
after tonight).

Yeah I remember NOT too long ago nobody in Montreal wanted to by the
Habs so a trader American had to bail you out.

Pathetic !!!!

Wow, now there's logic for you. Are you really that retarded? This
attendance thing we keep hearing from you Leaf fans is pretty lame. Now
check this out, this involves math so you may have to go to your mommy
or daddy for help. The Bell Centre holds 21,273 (I think this is the
number). The old Forum was at around 16,000. So that is a 5000+ seat
upgrade. The time you refer to when we weren't selling out we were
pulling in 19,000 people leaving approx. 2000 seats empty. That's still
more than any other team. We could have easily built an 18,000 seat
arena (a 2000 seat upgrade to the old Forum) and your whole argument
wouldn't hold shit because we would be filling that 18,000 seater every
game.

At least we have a "real" owner, not some pathetic teacher's fund who
has no real desire for winning a cup. All they want is more money for
their retirement pensions, something you morons are glad to contribute
into by paying top dollar for a crappy product. MLSE knows this and so
do the teachers. The stupid thing is that every year, the teachers in
Ontario threaten to go on strike. Every single year. Ballard could have
very easily not donated half the team to that fund. So why are they
complaining all the time? Screw off!

Expecting thought from that retard is akin to expecting a watermelon to give
birth to a baby iguana.

What ? ..........Number of years of drunken driving impairments for you !
As one of your more pathetic Leafs NG posters declared a couple of years
ago. (It was either stig or will. Interchangeable, really) "Do you mind,
we have playoffs to worry about, in this NG". While you, in the Leafs NG
have, what? Golf? 40 years of mediocrity? Signing that phenom Chad Kilger?

10 days is better than no days. And of course, 13 years is a lot better
than 40 years.

I thought it was lame until the fourth stanza, which caught me completely by
surprise. Nice build up.

Jesus, I'm complementing Johnny Rocket. That JD last night is really
hitting me........
