Here is a little poem I wrote for Leaf fans. I hope you guys enjoy it.
When
reading it, emulate an Irish accent. It's alot funnier that way.
Cheers, and bring on the Sens!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away
The Leafs won the Stanley Cup, and no more to this day
1967 is the year that was the Leafs for sure
Dreams of ol' Stanley they have had to endure
The Mighty Habs have fought their way to magic 24
While the lowly Leafs lay ruined and rotten to the core
A little boy down Yonge street asks "Daddy, why can't we win"?
The father answers "Son, this is the Maple Leafs ... duh"
Oh what I wonder will become of good ol' Patty Quinn
Oh Patty please don't go, cos with you the Leafs'll never win
So take this poem and heed it's words for truer truth you'll never hear
Come one come all ol' Leaf fans and drown your sorrows in lots of beer
